We review a background check, assignment preferences, skills assessment, and criminal background check with a seven year history.
We take each unique requirement into account, and comply with the client facility interview requirements before placement.
Our orientation system consists of a series of safety modules and quizzes covering a variety of skills from bloodborne pathogens, to needle sticks hazard communication. In addition, TaleMed requires an orientation by the client facility department of assignment.
TaleMed maintains electronic and physical employee records. While on assignment, an employee will be notified via our electronic credential database should a credential be pending expiration. Clients who need documents pertaining to a candidate who was assigned to their facility during the year can request documentation for JCAHO reporting, and TaleMed responds quickly.
Each of TaleMed’s accounts are cared for by an account manager who oversees quality, communication, and performance. We schedule regular check ins with our traveling professionals to make sure the assignment is going as expected, and to resolve any issues that arise, before they affect performance.
Our On-Site Service team is made up of experienced, healthcare professionals. They periodically visit each client facility and meet with facility representatives to ensure the highest quality performance by each of our healthcare professionals.
We require healthcare professionals to complete a comprehensive survey after each assignment. This consistently improves our work.

We put health care professionals on assignment to do the work they love – in places they fall in love with. We want to help all travel health care professionals find your place, by seeing the places you have fallen in love with. Submit photos of the cities, season, views you have fallen in love with.
Four healthcare professionals that have found their place will receive an Echo Dot. Winners will be announced every 13 weeks! Eight honorable mention winners will also be chosen and announced in November 2017.
The twelve winners selected will see their photos in the 2018 Find Your Place Calendar. So set your cameras to high resolution and start snapping those photos. If you have already taken an award winning photo please feel free to submit. Photographs will be accepted from any healthcare professional that would like to participate.
